Sweet Sixteen Masquerade Ball

What an amazing opportunity to photograph such a creative and colorful event!  I don't know many sixteen-year-olds whose moms would go through so much trouble to make them feel special on their sixteenth birthday!  I'm glad I could be a part of it.

 

I love how they chose to honor another birthday - a 66th surprise!

The birthday girl and her posse performed a choreographed dance:

Then two guests closed the show with a Michael Jackson-inspired number!

What a fun-tastic night, one tht I won't soon forget!

Well, first things first - Happy Anniversary!  Today -the very day of the session- is one day before this loving couple celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary, and what a better way to celebrate than with a new addition!

"Hello?  Brother?  Can you hear me?"

This is this father's fifth boy.
Get it?
Cute, right?

No greater joy than that of an expecting father.

It's a shame I won't be there for the birth or those first week photos. That's what happens when you book out-of-state maternity sessions and have to leave for your own kids' school year to commence before the baby arrives.
